## Rethinking Academic Support at the University of Maine Webinar

On October 17, 2024, Knack had the pleasure of hosting a virtual event featuring Dr. T. Scott Marzilli, Associate Provost for Student Success & Innovation at The University of Maine.

The University of Maine is addressing the challenges of higher education by focusing on peer tutoring as an educationally purposeful peer interaction and a high-impact experiential learning opportunity. This approach enhances academic success and retention while promoting equitable access to support. Dr. Marzilli shared how creating personalized, peer-driven learning environments, enabled students to connect with course material and each other, developing skills that drive academic achievement and resilience.
