How the USF College of Nursing Leveraged Peer Tutoring to Enhance Education and Professional Development
In Fall 2022, the USF College of Nursing launched a partnership with Knack to provide peer tutoring support for students in select courses. Recognizing the importance of academic reinforcement in the nursing curriculum, USF leveraged Knack’s strategy to recruit, train, and compensate high-achieving nursing students to serve as peer tutors. Through this model, students had access to tutoring both online and in person, allowing for greater flexibility in meeting their individual learning needs.
