How UT Arlington Boosted Pass Rates and Retention Through Peer Tutoring
The University of Texas at Arlington redefined academic support by teaming up with Knack to provide flexible, peer-led tutoring for students across all courses and modalities. The program drove a 6% increase in pass rates and a 23% boost in retention among regular participants, with 64% of students accessing tutoring for the first time. By meeting learners where they are and embedding peer learning into daily academic life, UTA built a scalable model that strengthens confidence, belonging, and long-term success.
