Redefining Academic Support at Fort Valley State University
Fort Valley State University transformed its approach to academic support by partnering with Knack to offer peer tutoring across all courses. The program engaged more than 1,000 students and tutors, delivering over 2,000 sessions—60% of which supported students accessing tutoring for the first time. With a sharp increase in usage and confidence, FVSU is redefining what equitable, community-driven support can look like at an HBCU.
